My male has been all over my female since the end of November when I paired them...i've seen multiple copulations...just 5 days ago i recognized her ovulation...until then,...she'd been swelling up...now she's thinned out but remains swelled in the lower third region...

Here's the thing...I was always under the impression that once gravid, the male will lay off of her...but he is still all over her...

so..do I have one heck of a horny male...or is she not gravid...

opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.

btw..she is a dh snow and he is a snow.

how old is the male?
Young males may be inexperienced and just not know or not care... or like you said, contrary to last weeks 'least horniest male in the country', you just may have the horniest male in the country! lol

Then again, this is considering your statements and observations.

The male is an '03..this is his first breeding..like i said..he has been all over her non stop since day one....

The other pic is of a male jungle boa that I recently puchased from Pete Kahl...truly amazing color.
