asking these questions in the Tree Boa Forum? http://forums.kingsnake.com/forum.php?catid=67

Not that anyone in here can't help you, but you might get alot more responses and better educated opinions. Good Luck!

Some advice would be that they are not a good snake for a beginner, but otherwise check out corallus dot com. Good site with lots of information.

These are terrible snakes for beginners. Their care is very demanding. They require perfect humidity, a tall cage, and perfect heating. They are extremly snappy, and have large front "fangs" that will do some damage. They do not tolerate handling. I've heard that handling once a month is appropriate, and their diet is not like a python's, where you feed and feed and feed.

I recommend talking to people who own these snakes before jumping into it. If you've never owned a snake before, start with something for novices.

you do not get one - at least until you research regurgitation in emerald tree boas. Even if you are an expert keeper you could have problems.
