Hi All,

Some of you may remember me, and some probably won't. I am the proud mom of an arg b/w tegu named Meego, who I bought as a green little thing back in the fall of 2003 from Bert at agama international

Meego is now a monster!! This is the first winter that he decided to stay awake, which is awesome....and his appetite is HUGE!! lol

At 2 and a half years old he is now 3.5ft long, and I have no idea how much he weighs, but he is a fatso!

Just thought I'd give an update

Hey! Welcome back!

Loiosh is now also 3.5 feet. He's at the vet right now. Silly lizard decided to go brumate himself for the first time this year with food in his tummy, so he just had surgery to remove 189 grams of stool. Vet says he's doing great, and everybody at the vet's office is in love with him. He's been his usual placid self, even with tubing and enemas and all. As soon as he's better, he's been promised a trip to the local Petco to terrorize Fluffy, the miniature poodle!

Rocza is over 2 feet now. she brumated last year, but is making up for lost time and is an absolute pig.

Meego looks great! He's such a pretty boy.

The horses are fine. Furry for the winter, but fine.

Loiosh is home and recuperating nicely. He was such a hit at the vet's office. Everybody loves him. The vet says that she usually discourages people from visiting their pets after surgery, but that Loiosh was obviously so bonded with me, that she preferred me to come daily, just not tell the other patients. He was so glad to see me; tongue flicking all over my neck. He even tongued my lips three times in a row, which, of course, had the vet tech telling everyone I had a 'kissing lizard.'

He's due to start water on Monday, and 2 small pinkie mice. Good! I was wondering how I would make a liquid diet for a tegu. Then again, I do have a recipe for 'mouse mouse.'

Great picture of Meego. He's such a pretty boy. I'll try to get a picture of Loiosh so you can see how big he's gotten.
