Chameleo Triceros sternfeldi.....

beardiedude Jan 31, 2006 06:25 PM

Does anybody know how to encourage breeding in rudis chameleons? I know the basics of their care...85 degree basking site, mid 70's in cage temps and mid 60's at night....but how do you get them to breed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

A romantic roasted garlic cricket dinner, buy UVB candle light, outside in the back yard. A dripper full of red wine, and some Marvin Gaye playing softly in the backround. You may want to have the Mr. bring some flowers too.
Good luck.

Our computers at work have been down for 2 days!!! I'm going crazy!! Partially because I'm bored, partially because I know how busy I'm gonna be when they come back up!! I'm lining up the pills on my desk as we speak!

is there any advise in dealing with the horned ones to help to get them to breed. I know your babies are "in love" so you may not have it that hard . I've never had a horned cham, so if the food and music can't bring out the passion, I'm all out of idea's.

There are so many secret meetings between my werneri pair I just try and give them their privacy,

I just have them by a window, plenty pf plant coverage and branches, food daily, mistings a few times a day as I'm here all day. And they seem to cruise around and be at peace.

I believe I saw them mate late December. Have to see what comes of it as she had still borns last time

I'm sure there must be more people on here that have or have had them, that could be of more help with the particular species.
