My son's GBK has been in her humid hide for the last 3 days. I assume it's OK, because my milk snake spends 100% of his time under his cypress mulch.
The GBK is overdue for a shed, so maybe she's getting ready(?)

I wouldn't worry as long as you also have a suitable dry hide.
I pulled her out of the humid hide this morning. The middle section of the moss in there was very warm, but she was on the bottom and was quite cool, to my surprise. I warmed her up in my hands and then, of course, she became more active. I returned her to her enclosure and she explored a while, then curled up in her favorite spot between the glass and her (dry) Country Crock hide. She still seems dull, and for all I know, she went blue those 3-4 days she spent in there, or she may go blue soon. I figured she was in there to help moisten prior to shed.
On a similar note, when I peeked in on my daughter's corn snake, she was sticking her head out of her humid hide and basking it under the heat lamp. I'm betting she spent the night in there.
Here's a pic of the corn.
