Welcome to kingsnake.com's message board system. Here you may share and discuss information with others about your favorite reptile and amphibian related topics such as care and feeding, caging requirements, permits and licenses, and more. Launched in 1997, the kingsnake.com message board system is one of the oldest and largest systems on the internet.
The genus Drymarchon of colubrid snakes includes the Indigo snakes and various other relatives, including the Cribo snakes, all of which are found in the Southeastern United States, Central America, and South America. These large powerful snakes will eat any other small animal they can overpower, subduing prey by thrashing it about until it can pin the animal down and swallow it whole. Here you may post messages or questions pertaining to all aspects and issues regarding the keeping, breeding, health, and conservation of all Drymarchon/Indigo Snakes. Please note that Indigos are a protected species within their range in the United States and kingsnake.com does not advocate the illegal take or possesion, collection, sale or commercialization of these snakes. If you are a new user to this forum, please take the time to review the rules first before posting: Terms of Service.
