Welcome to kingsnake.com's message board system. Here you may share and discuss information with others about your favorite reptile and amphibian related topics such as care and feeding, caging requirements, permits and licenses, and more. Launched in 1997, the kingsnake.com message board system is one of the oldest and largest systems on the internet.
Pythons are a genus of oviparous (egg laying) non-venomous constrictor snakes found in Africa, Asia and Australia. Currently, 7 species are recognised, and they range in size from the tiny Childrens Python, up to the gigantic Reticulated Python, the longest snake in the world. Most members of the python family are ambush predators, in that they typically remain motionless in a camouflaged position and then strike suddenly at passing prey. They will generally not attack humans unless startled or provoked, although females protecting their eggs can be aggressive. Here you may post messages or questions pertaining to all aspects and issues regarding the keeping, breeding, health, and conservation of all Pythons.
