I have use both rep-cal with vitamin D3 and herptivite for my als for years with excellent results. That's interesting about the vegetation, I've never really considered feeding plants and mine have never seemed interested. Spinich is generally not recommended for herbivorous reptiles. It is high in oxalates and can bind calcium in the gastrointestinal tract preventing its absorption.
