I don't notice any difference,but the size of the bug might not be good.Sometimes if they are still active, I will turn on one of the lights that is not on a timer and add some ants.Fourth meal!I wouldn't throw in a few medium crickets that time, but some of the smaller ants they like I don't see an issue.I am rather new to the HL'scene, but this is my experience with what I see with mine.
