It could be a spring peeper or even a chorus frog...however, a picture would make it more easier to determine. You can also do a google search on Ontario/Quebec frog species, check at local reptile shows/groups for local herpers you can show the frog to in person to better identify it.

Since it is leaving the tadpole stage, deffinitely get youself stocked on flightless fruitflies to feed the little froglet.
