Thanks for the advice!

I'm now using some peat moss as substrate. The frog does make a mess by pushing some of them into the water bowl, but he does look like he is enjoying it.

I'm say "he" because he did give a high pitched croak when I moved him to add in the peat moss. So I assume he is a boy.

How do I tell if my frog is impacted?
