Although I have purchased a Uroplatus henkeli ( Still hasn't shipped yet), I have not kept Uroplatus in the past. However, in my experience with others I have heard that henkeli is the easiest to start with as they tolerate fluctuations in temp/humidity far better than the smaller species. They are also seemingly the most readily captive bred.
As for care, there is a general Uroplatus care sheet in the CareSheets/FAQS/Features section of this website. it has some good general care ideas.

Good luck!
