...in the San Jacinto Mountains to above 8000 feet. I have seen several on the road between Idyllwild and the James Reserve. They are sympatric with L. zonata. Also in the Cuyamaca and Laguna Mountains in San Diego County. I have seen both species in the same outcropping.
