To answer everyone's questions...
I brumate mine at 45, but I've heard of people keeping them warmer. My male shuts down by himself, for about three months. It's like clockwork. My female would eat all winter if I let her. I seperate them for brumation, and will be pairing them up this spring for breeding, I'm hoping for some babies. I brumate them on coconut husk, humidity very very low.
