Hi, I have kept snakes for many years and I have lost a few and found a few. I thought that I would post tips on finding them.

1. Search immediately. Your snake is likely to find a tight place to hide until night fall when all is quite and still before explorering further.

2. follow the edge of a room, this is how they usually travel.

3. If your snake has been out for sometime and still in the house its likely that he has found a source of heat such as under or inside of the fridgerator, dryer, hotwater heater.

4. Most snakes can live comfortably for months without food, but need water weekly at least. Your more likely to find/trap your snake with water then with food.
