Hello,
If the Jon Furman that you mentioned is the person that I think he is,he has forgotten more about Crotalus horridus than many biologist will ever know. To call him an "amateur" seems to me to be a little insulting.
Many of the so called professional people could learn quite a bi from we "amateurs".
