I have kept a male viper boa for well over a year now. The first snake i have every tried raising. I have always been a four legged reptile type person. The male hasd been doing great and i have read all kinds of information about them. So the other day i decided to get a female with which i would eventually try to breed once another male is acquired. Anyway my male has always been calm and real friendly. When I was changing the females cage the other day she acted fairly agressive and slightly reveiled two backwards curving half centimeter long fangs on each side of her mouth. I was not aware that viper boas had fangs since the male had never shown anything of the sort and all the articles i have read only say that viper boas can deliver a nasty bite. I am slightly afraid that i might have got a cottonmouth instead that was mislabeled. As you can now see my concern i ask what you all think.
