i just go to the garden store and get regular top soil and peat moss. make sure that its all natural. you dont want anything that has added chemicals to it. rocks from outside are fine, just wash them good. i also use branches from outside and stuff. never had a prob.

crickets are good. also nightcralwers and roaches are good too. mine also likes super mealworms
