Leopard geckos are among the easiest to start with. Normals are very inexpensive from a breeder.
You really need to decide on ground geckos or wall climbers. LOL. Then people can get you info on the easiest to start with from there. Also, are you looking for a gecko to just look at in a nice set-up, or do you want one you can handle?
