Did you know that the snake is rear-fanged? It is very small (about 15 inches). The venom is not considered to be dangerous (according to the care sheet I found). It eats a variety of invertebrates including centipedes, scorpions, beetle larvae, and other insects. The care sheet said that the snakes spends the majority of its life underground.
