Went down to the snake room this morning to see if my plains or my melanistic eastern had given birth yet. Looked in both tubs and nothing, but then some movement in the top bin caught my eye and I was like what the heck. In Ruby's (my large snow plains) tub was a baby snow squirming around the front. The wierd thing is that she had a bunch of slugs and stillborns in late March, and was feeding well untill last night when she refused but I did not think anything of it. Anyway only 1 really big baby and 1 stillborn and 20-30 jelly beans were found this morning. The baby remarkably ate a rosie this afternoon. I wonder if I didn't spread my male snow too thin this spring.
