Thanks for your input. I guess it all depends on how the carpet or any snake behaves. I know that boas like to explore as well and they show this when I let them roam around but they are in tubs as well. I would like to get a GTP as well but I would have to buy a complete different setup. I have room in my racks for a carpet so that is another a reason I dont want to build another setup.
