Python brongersmai, aka blood python, on average males get 5-6ft depending on age and feeding schedule. Always plan on the high side of 6ft, which a 2x4ft cage should be fine. Borneo and Sumatran short-tails (aka black) the males stay smaller at around 4-5ft. I have 10 year old borneos that are about 5-5.5ft long. In comparison I have a male blood that is 3yrs old and is around 4.5ft long already.
