The tiger or "tigerish" kenyans are a produced from a kenyan x rufescens cross. My best looking "tigerish" individuals were produced from a pure rufescens to a normal kenyan (so 50%). None were produced in an 88% litter. My most recent 50% rufescens litter produced 7 stripes and 12 normalish looking babies. I would not call any of the normal babies a good example of a "tiger".
Another breeder recently claimed to have a recessive "tiger" phase kenyan, but I highly doubt it was recessive. It MAY have been a line bred thing at best.
Here is an example of what I would call a tigerish kenyan....??
50% rufescens
