I do not know the exact origin of the first albino RES but I believe it was found sometime in the 70's. Currently there are a ton of different bloodlines of albino RES as they are breed in the millions each year on farms and a few new "first generation" albinos randomly hatch out each year. Yes the "first generation" albinos are most likely worth a little bit more as they have a new bloodline and is pure but since there are a bunch avaliable and a bunch added each year its not worth a super high premium. You can currently find albino RES on classified such as here on kingsnake or other site along with reptile shows in the $150-$250 range for babies(I saw a few at the last chicago show that had miss alinged scutes for $135) I would guess you could get the higher end of that price, maybe a little bit more but not a super high premium for it.
Well with all that being said if you were interested in getting ride of it let me know as I am one of those people who is always intrested in adding new blood to my breeding groups. Also I would be very interested in getting some pictures of the little guy if you don't mind so please send me an email at dardar52487@netscape.net
