Unlike North American pygmys, these usually take fine to rodents as their first meals and stick with rodents. These were large babies so are quite capable of managing day-old pinks. However small newborns like mentioned in the other post can be assist fed rodent legs a few times until grown a bit or provided pink heads or small defrosted lizards.
