In a heated shed they should be fine, even if it drops below freezing. Temps that are too high are more likely to stop breeding and kill your colony. I have found my rats stop breeding if room temperatures get above 80F for any length of time. So if you aim for a temperature range of 68-80F you should have no problems keeping the rats breeding steadily.
