I believe leatherback/scaleless trait is recessive...though I think there is a line that's co-dom as well. From what I understand most breeders of the scaleless mutation breed hets together or have a male leatherback bred to a normal or het female...Because of the lack of scales, the teeth/claws of the male can really tear up the female if she's scaleless.
