Almost 20 years ago I had some that were 25% yellow and 75% red gorgeous animals. I would breed it back to a red. But find a stunning mate for it. The animals I had still had the faint black stripes that the yellows were known for and 3 of the 5 that I had developed purple on them. Yes purple that you could see from 5 feet away, not saying you will have the same results. I wish I would have kept them.
