Adult dragons shed 1-2 times a year typically, maybe three times.

I do fine my dragon stops eating when the skin is close to being read to shed..usually when she starts to look ragged around her head or if she's doing a body shed.

I can't remember how old your dragon is currently...but a full adult dragon can slow down eating normally, eating only a little every day or 2-4 times a week, even if food is offered every day.

As your dragon was eating good till recently, I would double check your temperatures. Bring him in to see your vet, and get a fecal done to check for parasites. Never hurts to bring your dragon to see a vet once or twice a year even when nothing seems wrong, just for a checkup.

Try offering a different assortment of greens/insects as food boredom can cause dragons to reduce eating as well.
