They kept in a small box OVER a fridge, not IN.
They are now both in the 8 inch range. It's a pair.
They eat a lot and are quite active and not shy.
Basking spot is still in the 120F range, they seem to like it and I never had any problems.
It seems like a very hot temp but it's just warm to the touch. Plus it helps increasing overall cage temps.
