I'm used to hearing about matings in June, but since breeding these lizards is not common, maybe they have a wider breeding calendar than people realize. When my one couple produced two viable eggs, there were multiple matings over about a week. The couple that laid two infertile eggs only mated once. One weird thing was that the vacuum tended to induce the first couple! I didn't try that with the second couple because I was too busy with my own baby this year, born in Spring.
Good luck! Can't wait to hear the result. Egg-laying typically takes place about four weeks after the initial mating. Then the eggs hatch about seven weeks after laying.
