Thanks,.......yes, then as the other poster mentioned, a definite Western Diamondback (Crotalus atrox).

Also, from what I see, it doesn't seem to be more than a few feet long judging from the dirt road path it is crossing. The void in between the car tire paths on either side isn't more than a couple feet wide.
