This "FAQ" was published to the TPWD web site, as written by Scott Vaca, Assistant Chief of Wildlife Enforcement.
A few (most?) of the answers given are apparently his opinion and do not appear to carry the weight of law/statute; for example, the question/answer about the "shoulder."
Don't be unnecessarily intimidated. Know what the actual TX Parks and Wildlife Code says, and what it doesn't say.
