The pictures shown on the series of questions is possibly one of the Russian Sand Lizard subspecies. Lacerta agilis grusinica,L.a.exigua or L.a. boemica and a few others.
The main European subspecies L.agilis agilis, L.a.bosnica & L.a.argus are quite different in colour pattern. I hope that I have attached a picture of a pair of L.agilis agilis in the wild in southern England, if this does not work just look at the same picture on the front page of http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/B_H_S_members/?yguid=129426455.
The Russian subspecies are mostly green almost like the larger Lacerta viridis
