I kept & bred Russians many years ago back home in UK. They were very gentle docile personable snakes that seemed to enjoy handling.
I have recently aquired 1.1 Korean & 1.0 Russian hatchlings. the Russian is gentle & docile but the two Koreans are feisty & shy & will actually rear up strike out & bite.
Quite a different personality but i am sure they will settle down.
