Hi I agree with Charles Koutris, this is DEFINITELY a Varanus ornatus (Ornate monitor).
Another distinguishing feature are the occeli, there are normally 3 to 5 rows between the front and rear legs in V. ornatus, 6 or more in V. niloticus.
