Eric - I had posted a long response, but is dropped me before I posted it, so I guess I only have about 5 minutes to respond...

I hope your snake doesn't have crypto, but it can be a very difficult parasite to detect - I highly recommend finding a lab or vet who can test for crypto. The animal's response to medication is promising...
