This small field in Palos Verdes is surrounded by busy streets and houses. Yet, Cal kings thrive here. The field was in danger of being developed, but the Nature Conservancy secured the land as part of the open spaces endeavor in PV.
This area used to have many boards scattered about, probably put here by past or present kingsnake.com folks. The boards have been cleaned up, but I found one large board hidden from view from the trail. Nothing under it today. Alligator lizard was found Mar 20 under a small remnant of a larger board that was cleaned up. Nice to see something here.
