I use the Baker style wire racks in the feeder/quarantine room. They definitely have their place in the hobby.

Although the Kmart/Target/Walmart stocked varieties have very little shelf capacity, 300lbs is typical.

However Sam's club sells a variety that has a 1250 lb per shelf capacity. Largest I've found over those at Uline that are 800lb per shelf.

Weight can be a big deal with vivarium's and soil bearing enclosures.
