Yeah, kings typically do not get RIs. RI is more with tropical animals that are then kept in temperate conditions.

Impending shed is the cause of noises in kings that are otherwise kept in good conditions. A moist hide is the best thing for keeping the loose skin around the nostrils (from the old skin loosening) nice and supple.
