No reason to be concerned. It's a nonvenomous Eastern milk snake. Milk snakes are a type of king snake. They feed on mice & snakes. Generally speaking, Eastern milks are found in the Northeast (though they range as far south as the Western Carolinas & extreme N GA). Corn snakes are found in the Southeast.
