Screen tops are the worst when ambient humidity is low. You will need to cover nearly all of the screen area but please have a temperature controller to make sure the cage does not overheat. Also, overhead lamps, if that is what you are using, are the worst for maintaining humidity. Ceramic heat emitters are better. You can use plastic wrap to cover the screen
