Is it normal for the female Prairie King to be the aggressor in breeding? She rubs her body all against the male and even rides on his back around the enclosure. I guess i had assumed it would be the male to initiate some sort of behavior such as that. Perhaps this is not a breeding response and i should take the male out and how long should i leave them together?
