New Uroplatus pietschmanni Hatchlings!!

Mad_1234 Feb 04, 2006 02:21 PM

I just had two little pietschmanni hatch out a day or two ago. Both completeted there sheds and look great. Also I think both are females which is good since all mine so far have been males. I was really amazed that one of the eggs hatched since I dropped it from about 4ft up when transferring it to the incubator. Luckily it was on carpet and the egg bounced and in the end it was fine. Anyway here are some pictures.

Unfortunately i had one of the eggs from my clutch mold up on me... the other still looks good but may be infertile... we'll see though... i'm adopting the cook it til it hatches or rots philosophy... congrats again! they are amazing animals-paul
