my dad is about to purchase a 18x 18x 24inches reptile tank fully equiped. he wants to have a a group of animals in there. the guy at petsmart said he could put 10 aniles in there no problem but sounds retarded. my dad is more curious about putting like 2 green anoles a bahaman anole a long tail grass lizard and a gree tree frog together. what do you guys think?

Don't mix species. Allow 10 gallons per Anole. An enclosure 18 X 18 X 24 is roughly 33 gallons which would be suitable for three Anoles.

And the "don't mix species" thing includes green and brown anoles. Browns are larger and more aggressive than greens and that will lead to trouble. You're best with three (or fewer) females of the same species. Males don't mix, and male/female combos can be ok in a well-planted tank, if you don't mind a million babies cropping up.
