BILOXI CAME HOME!!!

allegraf Feb 16, 2006 03:13 PM

It has been about a week since she made her great escape from the big house. I was talking to the tree trimmers this morning and asked them to keep an eye out for her. They found her!!! She is happily munching on cantelope and dandelions right now!! I need to go buy lotto! Thanks to everyone who was supportive!

That is just great Allegra! Where was she? What was she doing when found?
That is also great news since we were in the 30s for two nights while she was out.

They found her across the street under the bushes. I and my husband had searched that area as well as everywhere else for her. We were even digging up the mulch to see if she had burrowed down. I guess she stayed one step ahead! Top Cut Tree Service gets two thumbs up from me!

It seems that most lost tortoises are found but that doesn't lessen the anguish we go through while they're gone!
