Best venomous caging for copperheads?

jts2103 Feb 24, 2006 11:26 AM

I am wanting to know what kind of caging is good these days. There are alot of cage companies these days and it can get a little confusing especially concerning venomous. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time,

Jeff

You are right, there are a LOT of cage companies out there. I personally would recommend one of the following: Vision (has some design issues but not too bad with a little modiciation around the lip), Neodesha (still the best in my book even though they are no longer made; you'll have to try to purchase a used one...but they really are the best), Habitat Systems (a bit pricey but a real nice product), and Crescent Moon Creations (new kid on the block but they make museum quality wood enclosures; we use them almost exclusively at the wildlife center that I run). Hope this helps.

Do you have a web address for Crescent Moon? I have heard a lot of good things about them of late, but there isn't one search engine out there that has yielded any results. Do you have some pictures of the enclosures at your facility that you could post?
Thanks, PP
