2nd Henkeli Baby! Woo hoo.

Geckos_R_Me Feb 26, 2006 05:25 PM

Okay, I had to show off my 2nd henkeli baby. He or she is only a couple hours old in these photos. It took this one 122 days just like my first one to hatch. I guess that is my lucky day! I am very surprised by all the green that this one is expressing. Those patches and spots are green in color. I hope it stays with age. Enjoy! His/her name is Macú.

looks like quite a cutie. looks a lot like mine with those green patches. seems like it took quite a while longer for that one to make it out, but it's finally here and looks pretty good. job well done.

Shiny little one. We have a pair producing, and a couple of youngsters ourselves but no green like yours. Very nice!

Boy, I must say it is so very exciting to open that incubator and see that little baby sitting there waiting for you. It is nice to hear about other peoples successes. Feenie, your male is very pretty and I'm sure you are going to really enjoy him. I pure love my henkels.

Mike, you said you had one that has green patches as well. Have you posted a pic? I would love to see him! This new baby was actually not a clutcmate of the first. My female has never laid more than one egg at a time for some reason.

Once again, thank you for all the nice comments and I love to see pics so anyone that has some, post em!

unfortunately, this is the only decent picture i have of the one i mentioned, and its a very old pic (when it was maybe a month or two old). since then, the green has come in a lot stronger, but unfortunately it dropped its tail while it was young, and it's still growing back.

Hey Mike, Thanks for posting a pic. Yep, just like the green on mine. Very cute baby. Oh, and congratulations on all your success breeding this year. It seems that you really have a lot of good luck with the phantasticus. Well take care.
