Hey there. Looking better than you described but I guess a bit of cleaning goes a long way. If he has been there for 2 years and is that size he could definitely use some bigger meals. Be forewarned that he may start trying to eat you if you get his temps up. He might try to make up for lost growth. LOL Good job and good luck.

Later Jason

P.s. I would suggest a different cage liner or bedding. Some sort of wood chip or newspaper. If that carpet is 2 years old I would throw it out tomorrow. Even if it is new they are bacteria sponges.

He looks great. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I'd probably add some more stuff to his cage, but I tend to go overboard on stuff. I'm looking forward to hearing more about him.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

Awww Bill, your snake is gorgeous! I tend to put a lot of things too and for sure things are going to go from slumsville to living in style this lil baby. I have to keep reminding myself I'm only Day 3 into having met this snake and Rome wasn't built in a day! haha! Thanks for the words and the beautiful pics. Those pics give me hope and with hope mountains can often be moved (wink).

We'll look forward to seeing your progress with this little guy. My cage has changed dramatically in the time that I've been on this forum. I keep making little changes as I learn new things from everyone.

Bill, you may have to change to the TALL versions of these cages, LOL! I like your setup and have enjoyed watching the changes through the weeks.

Thanks Bill!!! I am very happy to report that many things changed over just 4 days time. I look forward to sharing the progress as my lil king thrives in his new and greatly improved environment!
